Our provision is designed for young people who face challenges in mainstream education. This can include those with special educational needs, emotional and behavioural difficulties, a history of trauma, or those who have been out of education for a period of time. We work closely with each young person to create a plan that supports their unique needs.
Sessions vary based on the individual, their targets and level of support needed. We access a wide range of activities both indoors and outdoors to support their development in creative ways.
We provide half day (3 hours in the morning or afternoon) or full day sessions (6 hours).
No. As an alternative provision, we offer a holistic service that focuses on fostering the child’s self-esteem, sense of identity, and overall well-being. Our approach includes activities that promote physical and emotional health, life skills, sex and relationships education, and much more.
We also provide tailored support for young people to complete academic work set by their school. For instance, if a student needs to complete a mock exam and would benefit from doing so outside of the school environment, we can facilitate that in a supportive setting.
Our goal is to help young people develop effective coping strategies, overcome barriers to engagement, and successfully transition into a school environment that best supports their individual needs.
No. If the young person does not have an EHCP or they are on the waiting list for one, there may be other funding available.
We accept private clients and referrals can be made directly by parents for mentoring and other support services.
We believe in a collaborative approach to education and work closely with schools, families, and other professionals involved in a child’s care. Regular communication and meetings are key to ensuring that everyone is on the same page and that the child’s progress is being supported across all areas of their life.
Depending on demand, there may be a waiting list. We encourage you to get in touch with us as soon as possible so that we can discuss your child’s needs and start the assessment process. Our team will provide an estimated timeline for when support can begin.
To get started, simply reach out to us through our contact form or by phone. We will arrange an initial consultation to discuss your child’s needs and begin the assessment process. Once we have a clear understanding of how we can support your child, we’ll develop a tailored plan for their education and well-being.
Progress and success looks different for every child and young person. Through thorough background information and initial assessments, we collaborate with the child and team around the child to create realistic and achievable targets. These are reviewed regularly and adapted where necessary. Progress is not only fed back to family and professionals, but reviewed with the young person themselves so that they are empowered to be an active role in their own journey.
